Real Estate That Has Gone Off The Deep End Vol 1

Real estate is probably one of the most talked about topics around. Even if you aren't discussing buying, and selling real estate directly, you are probably talking about owning a home one day, hearing about someone getting evicted from their home, remodeling or redecorating your house, etc. For the most part, the furnishings that you have for a home are of the standard variety (swimming pool, some shrubs for the front yard, that sort of thing). However, every so often you have someone that decides that they want their home to stand out from all the others. But instead of putting in a nice rose bush, or perhaps putting in a lighted walkway, they decide that it would be really cool to build a house where the roof is on the ground, and the entrance is up high in the air.

The pictures below represent architecture where imagination was stretched to its limits. Some of the real estate properties are ones that you might be able to imagine yourself in one day (especially with "going green" becoming all the rage). Some of these houses were probably a childhood dream that was never fulfilled (like having a house built into a tree). Then there are those that are just so far out in left field that you wonder what was going through the architech's mind when they designed the building. Regardless of your opinion, you must agree that these houses are definitely interesting to look at. So enjoy!
